Offering brilliant, dynamic and exciting performance, this AV Series speaker system is suitable for 7.0 home theater configurations and includes the AVSC two-way center channel, the AVBP2 Bipolar surround sound speakers, and two sets of the AVFR three-way hifi speakers. With superb sound radiation and rich timbre, this system is perfect for music and home theater applications. The AVBP2 surrounds feature a bipolar design that combines two identical panels of a 4-inch woofer and a 1-inch Neodymium balanced dome tweeter, the Fluance AVBP2 tackles the needs of surround speaker design in a usefully different way. The angle of the speaker panels allows audio to radiate indirectly - resulting in extremely convincing surround ambience - while the in phase wiring of the bipolar design is able to provide all the localization needed for soundtracks with directional surround effects. Even at high volume levels, the acoustic image remains free from cabinet vibrations and driver resonance. Plus, in a home audio system these speakers can easily be used with active subwoofers, and in Dolby surround and DTS systems.
