Product Review (submitted on March 31, 2016):

I wanted to try something else than my English made Missions, which I had for years and I had so many different types. Good idea was to support Canadian company and Fluance had a very nice looking products. First I started with subwoofer (red rosewood) then added a pair of XL7F and finally matched center channel speaker. I am hooked to the audio from mid 70's and I have heard a lot of good sound from different companies. I am also electronic technologist and designer, then I think I can "catch" a good product. With one of my amplifiers (JVC, NIKKO, Luxman hybrid) made by Panasonic, I hooked the speakers in bi-amplifying mode ( use 2 amp. channels per side (L), one for low and one for high frequencies), for other side (R) another two. They claim in that configuration 4,x 100W for stereo use. First, speakers look very high class and finish is very good, I can say excellent even it is not real wood veneer. ( Fluance please consider upgrade models with real wood veneer, even for higher price, these speakers are worth it). Very heavy and speaker terminals are HUGE, very nice detail. The whole impression is that you have very solid product in a front of you. I had that feeling with my high class Missions too, but price for these UK products are few times higher.
Sound is fantastic, no vibrations, resonance or any other unwanted sounds. I played classical music from my Denon and Panasonic SACD players, pop and rock from my CDs and all kind of music is simply reproduced very fine from these speakers. In Surround mode, Subwoofer and centre speaker worked excellent ( in conjunction with reviewed front speakers, plus my current surround speakers from Mission, which will be, I hope, changed soon with Fluance matching rear speakers ( Current Ca $ is low and I am waiting for some better days to add rear Fluance speakers).
I thing Fluance needs more advertising ( people doesn't know much about them) and maybe at least one place in Toronto as showroom, to show what they have and let people enjoy the sound. If you are in analogue sound, don't forget to check their kickstarter for two very nice turntables ( I signed in today for one). If they find enough customers for a two new ( excellent) turntables, they will make them ready for June 2016 delivery. For a fraction of the price what would be for that type of quality turntables if made by some other company. Very happy with my purchase! Happy to see new models are coming.
