I recently picked these up along with the matching center and bipolar surrounds. The fit and finish is great along with the double box shipping it makes for a great system.
Although I haven't broken them in yet they do sound very good if you are wondering if these are a good fit...they are go ahead pull the trigger you won't regret it at all.
Bought the center speaker and loved it so bought this as well. Agree with the poster above that after about 10 hrs the speaker really came to life. Will be keeping as a great speaker for the price as needed a smaller speaker. If you like deep bass add a basic sub woofer and your set. Hoping I can resist buying towers next lol.
I've been looking for a set of bookshelf speakers for a while. I'd been looking at several brands, Pioneer, Bic, Klipsch and even Dayton on the lower side of the price spectrum. Well I'd thought I'd made up my mind and was going to go with the highly reviewed, everyone loved Pioneers. Although the looks are not very appealing I thought well seems like a lot of bang for the buck and I guess I can sacrifice some looks. Then I ran across a youtuber and watched a few of his videos. He raved about SX6 bookshelfs. ( Z Reviews by the way). So I checked you guess out online and then Z Reviews sampled and listened to the the signature bookshelfs. So to make this just a little longer I pulled the trigger on the signatures and I'm so impressed. The sound is great, the looks are great and delivered sooner than expected. Can't wait to buy the towers. You guys are incredible. Thanks these speakers are amazing!
Well worth the price. A bit weak bass, so best suited for a small room -Verified Store
These are perfect for my AV system. The clarity is much more noticeable compared to my old Design Acoustics small speakers. The base is quite adequate to my ears. They seem to improve with continued listening. They also look good. Highly recommended! -Verified Store
these Canadian made 200 dollar speakers ,( I think they are 100 or 125 Watts), are awesome..for the money I challenge anyone to find a better pair of Surround Sound speakers. They're just phenomenal , very well made , stylish looking and they not only make music sound great also movies and games. I have them hooked up to a 20 dollar Lepai amp which in turn is plugged into my Realtek onboard sound card on my PC. I really lucked out because finding and actually choosing a good quality pair of speakers under 250 bucks that satisfies you sound quality needs for all three purposes and nailing it is not an easy feat let me tell you....crisp clear sound and it's all around me...these are damn fine speakers. -Verified Store
I purchased these, along with the Signature center, bi-polar, and the DB150 subwoofer directly from Fluance. So far they have been great. I have them set-up as a 5.1 system with my Yamaha RX-V679 receiver. I have been pushing these bookshelf speakers loudly on the 2-channel setting (along with the subwoofer) and they are holding up very well. I like listening to 2-channel vs. surround sound for music videos and the radio. Build quality is great. They are heavy. Finish is awesome as well. -Verified Store
As along time audiophile, I rarely make bad decisions. Mostly due to the immense research I do before purchasing. But this buy was really a whim. I come from a background of Paradigm and Definitive Technology and SVS. For 200 dollars these are an incredible buy!! On par with both of those previously mentioned. I want to buy 3 sets of these gems to fill my living room!!! But like most theater set ups it takes time and phases. Just a note for the first few days these will sound a little hollow. Detailed, but hollow. But after that wow!!! For 200 dollars I seriously can't recommend a better buy!! Just give them a try, I promise you'll be sold! I'm already looking at adding more bookshelves, centers, etc!! Not a sub of course, gotta stick with SVS with that. But that's another story,. -Verified Store
These things just keep getting better by the day, I can't believe how smooth and crisp these speakers are. I'm running these on a SC 1223 and I'm In shock!!!! -Verified Store
Let me just start by saying I am so impressed with the speakers. I have been auditioning speakers for the past month and these are going to be the ones I'm going to keep. They have a very clear and balance sound that only gets better with time. The bass is very good for just a 5 inch woofer it is controlled and tight. I think where the speaker shines the most is in the stereo imaging department they really do paint a three dimensional soundstage that is very immersive. The fit and finish of the speakers is also very good. I have the black ash they look great and the magnetic grills are a nice touch.
Purchased these to replace my front L&R Polk T15's, which got moved to the back. My entertainment center and living room layout prevents the use of floor standing speakers, but these bookshelf speakers do the trick of filling up the living room with sound. When hooked up to a Pioneer VSX-1023 receiver, the Star Wars: The Force Awakens Blu-Ray comes alive with a lot more punch and warmness than the T15s.
I appreciated the fact that Fluance included a home theater set up guide in the packaging, which was also well done. It shows that they care about informing a newbie home theater adopter like myself how to set speakers up properly to get the best out of them. -Verified Store
A most excellent purchase. Plenty loud enough, Nice and clear sound. Solidly and beautifully built, they're heavy buggers for the size, there's obviously something substantial in there. Even the packaging was perfect. -Verified Store
Very nice speakers. Surprising sound for the price. High is very good. Mid is perfect . Bass is tight. Very musical. Very soundstage.

I found this Canadian speaker company by accident while I was shopping for speakers a year ago. Based on the reviews alone, I was sold on the XL series but I had nowhere to audition them. In late December 2015, Fluance this new Signature Line of speakers. My thought process was, if the XL Series were that good, and these are their new top line, then these should be better! I bought these bookshelves on a whim -- I figured, at this price range, if i didn't like them, it didn't hurt as much.See all reviews
The short of it is, I am simply blown away by these bookshelves! I was planning on using them as rears in a 5.1 setup but that was short lived. I moved them up-front and replaced my Paradigm monitor bookshelves. These things sound amazing! My Paradigms were at least three times the price as these but these Fluance bookshelves hold their own.
Although I am not qualified to give it a professional opinion on how it sounds, I do know that I love listening to these speakers. The cabinets are very well built - heavy, well sealed, with a beautiful finish. The 5" woofer is both beautiful to look at and listen to. The tweeters are very smooth. I have to admit that pre-break-in, they sounded a little bit harsh, fatiguing, but after 10 hours or so, they really started to mellow out.
All this plus a 30-day in-home audition and a lifetime warranty on parts and labor. It gives new meaning to best bang for your buck.
Fluance, you have a new fan. It's because of these bookshelves that I placed an order for the Signature floorstanding towers. :)
