Great Sound for Your Dollar! 0 people found this helpfulI upgraded from a Technics P-mount to the RT 82 and the sound difference is amazing. I didn’t order the turntable with the preamp because I run all my components through an early 90’s Yamaha receiver and a Sound Bender equalizer. The spectrum of sound produced through this unit is clear and clean. This may be due to the wooden plinth and the isolated motor. I christened it with some Jethro Tull and Pink Floyd! In reading reviews about the OM 10, I will definitely be investing in the OM 20 to see if there is a noticeable difference. I believe this is a great turntable as is, but leaves room for upgrades.

Really good turntable. 1 people found this helpfulI recently purchased a RT82w. I truly enjoy the easy setup, look, crafmanship, and especially the sound of this turntable and stylus. The customer service is outstanding. After about a week of considerable listening time, the sound became very distorted constantly. I promptly contacted Brent at their customer service department. After I sent a email, as he requested, with the picture of the cartridge / stylus and a video / audio recording of my problem, he quickly analyzed the problem. It was a defective head shell. He quickly sent one out, and I'm now back on the road to full music enjoyment. Sometimes stuff happens that are out of manufactures control when they are not producing all the components that go into there products. That's why there are warranties. However the Fluance Customer service team was responsive, polite, and quick to resolve my issue. I would highly recommend a turntable from Fluance, especially for the price point. It won't break the bank.....

Best value! 0 people found this helpfulFantastic turntable! Exceptional sound. I upgraded from an older 70's vintage belt drive table and there is simply no comparison. This thing rocks. I don't believe there is a better value available today

Wow is all I can say! 0 people found this helpfulI bought the Fluance RT82 as an upgrade to my Crosley. I paired it with an Andover SpinBase speaker to keep the same small footprint that my Crosley had and I was blown away with the quality and the sound that this turntable produces. The Ortofon OM-10 stylus produces sounds from my classic Country records like I’m seeing the artist live. When I set this up and lowered the stylus on my Street Survivors album Lynyrd Skynyrd never sounded better. If you are looking for a great turntable look no further than the Fluance line!
