Nice great turntable 0 people found this helpfulLove this turntable so far, it was a great upgrade from a suitcase turntable that’s for sure, a bang for your buck honestly. only problem i have is that the protecter likes to snap off sometimes. Was playing a record and closing the protecter case when it snapped off and numbed into the needle which scratched the record sadly. Other than that, i’m in luv with my turntable, the dark wood is gorgeous in my room.

Purchase RT 81 2 people found this helpfulVery happy with the entire process...from purchase to shipping, to set up and finally to listening to vinyl! Used the online chat feature and Benton my Fluance rep was extremely helpful. There is minimal setup required and instructions were easy and very helpful. Excellent, quality turntable with a very satisfying sound. Perfect for my needs!

Quality and value great turntable 9 people found this helpfulI'm 59 and have over 300 albums mostly purchased between 1976 and 1986. In the last few years I have replaced some of my party albums with better quality and filled in some missing albums my friends had to round out the collection. I bought this turntable because my original 1979 turntable motor was a little slow and the wow and flutter was noticeable. This turntable sounds amazing, the atm95 is a quality cartridge with great dynamics the plinth is solid and heavy which reduces any vibrations and the motor is spot on at 33 1/3. A great stereo system is more than just a turntable , you need a good integrated amplifier and good speakers set the appropriate distance apart from the listening area. What i really like about this turntable is the build quality, weight and cartridge, but also important is the dust cover and the ability to change out head shells easily. Some of my albums are pristine and the atm95 sounds great but some are a little scratchy and the atm 95 makes the scratches very noticeable and sometimes skips and dosen't track as well.. This is where its nice to change head shells to a different cartridge and stylus that tracks better but maybe a little less dynamics which helps hide the scratches. All in all great product and I am very happy with my purchase.

So stoked. 5 people found this helpfulI got the RT81 Turntable and smaller bookshelf powered speakers - and this set up is incredible. After 20 years of having the same mediocre equipment, I am thrilled with the sound, ease of install, and beautiful appearance. Now I can listen to my records without hating the experience - the sound is so clean! Very stoked. Thank you!
