Sound amazing! 0 people found this helpfulSound much bigger than they are. Bass is deep, tweeters are crisp, and plenty of mid range! Highly recommend! Video shows preamp and amp used.

Definitely louder than they look! 0 people found this helpfulI stepped into a cheap pair of speakers. And when they arrived, the box was much heavier than I was expecting. I opened em up and was sort of perplexed the whole time, while hooking them up. They're bigger than I thought! And more refined than I hoped for. I love the band Big wreck, the song Ghosts is what I first played and WOW! My wife and kids walked into the living room and were like: 'Holy moly! Those are loud!' So if you have a med-sm room and want HIFI sound. These are a darn good start at 140 dollars Canadian! Geez in the states these almost be free! Lol.

Best value for a budget speaker, plays far above its price level! 0 people found this helpfulI bought these open box as a set of B speakers to go with my Klipsch R-51M / R100SW setup powered by an Onkyo TX-8220 45wpc rms at 8 ohms stereo receiver. Cutting to the chase, I was hugely shocked! These are still breaking in, yet they sound AT LEAST as good as the Klipsh. 2 key areas is they sound stage and image very well, and they react to tone controls very well. I may end up using these as the mains. To get the best out of these: 1 get ADJUSTABLE speaker stands, for me midrange picked up when I raised the woofer, to ear level, same with the Klipsch. 2 and most important, get a 10' powered subwoofer. You don't need fancy electronics for the most part, positioning & room treatment are your friends. These are what I had hoped the Sony SSCS5 would be on my equipment and you know how regarded those are! Try these, or I am sure the other Fluance models are great as well. I am very pleased with my purchase. Best of Luck!
