I bought these for my dedicated home theater strictly based upon the positive reviews. Initially I was skeptical because I had spent so much time researching other speakers. However, boy am I glad I did. First, it took two UPS guys to carry each speaker to the house. They were packaged impeccably and once I removed them from their boxes it was immediately apparent that these were well-made quality speakers. Keep in mind, that I hadn't even made any connections yet. I just put them in position and starred at them for awhile. But once they were connected and they system was up and running, the sound was just spectacular. Music and movies are equally pleasing. Last night was our inaugural showing and we chose Lone Survivor. The sounds from the gunfire and explosions are beyond describing. It really made you feel like you're literally standing there. Everyone in the room was in awe. I'm not an audiophile by any stretch of the imagination, but I am one very satisfied customer and isn't that what we're actually trying to achieve. These Fluance speakers combined with their center speaker will not let you down. Go ahead and take the plunge. You won't regret it. -Verified purchase from Fluance trusted store.
