Product Review (submitted on November 20, 2015):

I've owned it for about 2 months now and I made no mistake with my choice on this products. I was initially looking for good used B&W speakers and other reputable brand but with my budget and the spec that I want it's limited available on the market what I was looking for. I recently got two Rotel bridged mono power amps which power rating at 150w output and wanted to feed each power amp to each speaker which set up was going to eliminate most of bookshelf speakers so my mains are only without a doubt floor standing loudspeakers.Actually, I never heard of Fluance brand until I started to do research my main speakers and when I found about it, for the price it was well fit and spec are just perfect for my need to hook up to my amps. When I did research no one was giving any negative feedback and that made up my mind to purchase this wonderful items. As I mentioned above, even used bookshelf one from B&W brand would cost more. This Flunce XL7F are $500 come a pair of price is less than used bookshelf but I not saying they are over priced. They are just high demand in used market, of cause floor standing type would be a lot higher.I do not want to call it a budget sp and not want to use words entry level sp, it's actually top of the line in Fluence products and it definitely deserve as excellent and well engineered products. When I first time saw these SP I could not believe how well crafted the cabinets are and all the material they put were really high graded. What I like about the design is they don't put so many crazy woofers at your sight but hide one at the bottom which 8" woofers down firing will reproduce tight, deep and accurate bass( Fluence described it sexiest bass, which sound nice to me really). Well, that will not bring the best sound from the look and sexiness so how about the sound?I have tried many kind of music rock, classical, techno, soul all play nothing come to short. When I listen Evanescence, it just assured me I bought a sweet but powerful speakers. Hayley Westenra song and angelic voice was just make me feel I was floating in the air or gliding in the valley what a natural sound. I listen a lot of Enigma, Linkin Park, old soft rock from 80's 90's, piano notes what a great sound with image that come to live. Can't remember everthing to write though.Yes, the true is it require good amplification so go ahead and choose good amp to drive out of it's best, especially to the music rather than home theater system.Preferably separated system will be the best at least in my case.Even saying max produced products can not be sold at this price, consider to shipping fee a lone it take a big chunk of cost to ratio selling price so I would like to give a lot of credit to the company's working hard and ahh life time warranty too so wish them well all the best. I hope it help everyone and Fluence will keep produce wonderful speakers and even innovate better in the future.Oh, be care with their spike legs it a little short so if you over twist it will come out and your heavy SP will loose balance and might fall so twist it slow, not over do.System set upCreek OBH-14 24bit DAC pre-amplifierTwo Rotel power amp RB-951 bridged mono fed to each speaker.Samsung Blu ray player -Verified purchase from Fluance trusted store.
