I have used a 12" sub for sometime and thought to try out a newer, more compact unit, and was more than happy I did. The DB10 provides a more consistent performance and the auto feature works flawlessly (allowing me to leave the unit on in virtual stand-by all the time). It really rounds out the sound in general TV viewing and provides a great "umph" in those action sequences while watching movies. Definitely recommend!
