After a ton of research I went with fluance for the value for the money. The turntable itself is very nice and super shiny.. good quality and great sound in my vintage receiver/speakers. I got the rt83 on sale, otherwise I would have probably gone with the 82.The platter feels pretty light and I'll be upgrading to the acrylic platter soon
