"The walnut finish gives the RT81 one of the best looks of any entry-level turntable I’ve seen. It’s sturdier and heavier than some of the cheaper turntables out there from brands like Crosley and Denon. "Read the Full Review

"Music played on the record player was deep and smooth with excellent clarity. In general, there was low distortion, sparkling treble, and strong bass across the records we listened to, from Broadway to Drake."Read the Full Review
This is my first turntable and I am very happy with it. Setup process is very straightforward even for a beginner, and it sounds great too. I paired it with the Edifier 1700's and they work flawlessly. Also, nice to support a Canadian brand. Highly recommended!
Record player looks beautiful. Was easy to set up and works as expected. It's only been a week but I'm very happy.
I ordered the rt81 and I was so surprised at how fast it came. The player itself is really nice and super easy to set up.
What can I say about this turntable other than it is fantastic! I have been listening to vinyl since high school (I'm now 26 yrs old) and the RT81 is the definition of how vinyl is meant to be heard and experienced! From the first drop of the needle I could tell how AMAZING of an experience it would be! Love this turntable and would reccomend Fluance to any vinyl enthusiast! Can't wait to listen to music with this turntable for many years to come!
Two years of flawless performance in one gorgeous unit! You won’t be disappointed!
An absolutely gorgeous machine with beautiful, clear sound. It was a gift for my fiance as we are new to the turntable scene and we are so pleased with it. It's easy to use and is a gorgeous addition to our home!
Bought it for my son and he loves it!!!
Beautiful to look at. The finish is gorgeous and it is really a beautiful sight. The sound is incredible!
The RT 81 seems to be a very well crafted turntable. I like the option of upgrading cables and cartridge although I am using the supplied items at this point. I wanted a semi-auto turntable and this fits the bill nicely. My only observation is, I would like to see the lift lever located a little more conveniently. It is tucked in very close to the tone arm and is hard to use in dim light. Otherwise, great turntable.
My RT-81 is a great turntable. Definitely the best bang for your buck when compared to other turntables in similar price ranges.
I looked at the Fluance RT81 on Amazon. I was in need of replacing my 20+ year old Luxman turntable. I wanted a turntable that not only looked good but performed well. I don't consider myself an expert but I have been listening to vinyl records for 50 plus years. I recently bought a set of Fluance Home theater speakers and was really impressed with them so I thought the Fluance turntable would be something to look into. I did my usual research and found numerous good reviews on the RT81. I concur with them all. For the price you cannot beat this gem.
There is one thing I would like that was not offered. I would like an option to purchase a better cartridge with the turntable. The cartridge offered with the turntable is a good one but there are a lot of better ones.
After not having listened to vinyl for 30 years I found some of my old collection in a move and decided to jump back in. After a lot of careful research I can across to the RT81 and I could not be happier. From the build quality, style and sound, this has everything a novice listener, would want. Others in this class can't even compete.
New to the world of turntables but I stumbled upon the RT81 while looking at other turntable reviews on CNet. High quality looking build and sounds great. Chose the RT81 over the Audio-Technica AT-LP120 and have no regrets.
I had a good vintage pioneer turntable already but i recieved this one as a gift from my job . This seems to be as good as my PL-514 so Im gonna keep the fluance since the look is an upgrade !See all reviews
