I had a problem with antiquate due to using a NAG-MP110, Customer Service was able to diagnose that he cue lever pad was set to high, a simple adjustment to set the cue arm pad lower and now my anti skate works as it should. My NAG MP-110 sounds fantastic.
Great turntable with great support from the Fluance customer service team. Had issue with NAG MP-110 cart, Fluance team was very patient had resolved this issue with the Antiskate
Easy to set up. Everything from the feet, cartridge, tonearm, and installing the platter/belt.
You still want to check the cartridge alignment with a protractor (Fluances uses Baerwald) just in case.
The feet is height adjustable which makes it easy to level.
Nice tonearm, I do wish it was of lighter material, like carbon-fiber, but at this price point it is understandable.
Great sound from the OM10, I will be switching between cartridges , i currently have the AT95E, and a Shure M97xE. I will also be trying out a Nagaoka MP110 soon.
Once available, I will be upgrading the aluminium platter to the acrylic platter whenever that comes out. *Hurry up Fluance, jk jk*
Very nice record player. Well made and I'm very happy with the sound. Good pricing for the quality of the player. Nice packaging and overall a good player for those looking for quality with good pricing.
I love this turntable. Looks and plays great. Too bad Fluance doesn't keep their customers informed and will most likely never release any upgrades.
Great sounding and beautiful turntable. Was looking for a vintage but weighed the cost of repairs vs lifetime warranty ...no contest
It’s okay. Lots of static and popping for a turntable in this price range not to mention I received my turntable with missing parts (only one dust cover hinge was included instead of two). Fluance offered to send a replacement a week ago but still hasn’t shipped it so I’m a little frustrated to say the least.
The RT 82 and I am sure the 83-85 are a breeze to set-up. Just take care balancing the tone arm as it is important, but not difficult. I did get a VTF gauge to verify the correct tracking force and a protractor as I also bought and upgraded cartridge, a Sumiko Olympia. The combo sounds great. Highly recommended. I was waiting for a RT 85, but couldn’t wait any longer so I bought the 82 and added the additional cartridge, not that the Ortofon OM10 isn’t decent. I heard a Sumiko on a friends TT and really liked it. The RT85 will be a super deal if they ever get back in stock since the Ortofon Blue is valued at $230 itself. Snap it up when it gets back in stock. I bought the walnut veneer version and it is beautiful.
First and last Hi Fi turntable lll ever buy. The detail this turntable produces is amazing.Worth the price
The RT82 (and thereby the 83-85) is gorgeous physically and mechanically, the motor effortlessly silent. The long, slow drop of the cue arm allows the music emerge out of the grooves. Set up is a breeze. Calibrating the tonearm and cartridge take a bit of patience but the reward is worth it.
I love my RT 82! Its a beautiful turntable.
I'm absolutely thrilled with my RT82 turntable! The quality is top notch. Nice, heavy build. Sounds exceptional! I'm literally hearing things on my records that I've never heard before. Great quality for the price. Customer service was friendly, prompt, and helpful. Highly recommended!
I recently packed away all my CDs and my receiver and speakers and thought I was stepping into the digital age. Then I came into some vinyl and decided to buy a turntable. I'm glad I chose this one. I busted out the old receiver and speakers and it sounds amazing! Glad to be out of the digital age.
