The AB40 Soundbase offers an immersive cinematic sound experience all in one convenient package. Sometimes not every TV/source plays nice so we wanted to offer some suggestions for changing your sound settings so you can be up and running in no time.
If you are experiencing difficulty using the Optical input you may need to change the audio output settings on your source device. The AB40 does not support Dolby Digital Audio. These instructions will help you disable 
Set Dolby Digital to Off
PlayStation 4
Go to Settings
Select Sound and Screen
Select Audio Output Settings
Select Audio Format (Priority)
Select Linear PCM
Xbox One
Go to Settings
Select Display & Sound
Select HDMI audio if the AB40 is connected to your TV or Optical audio if connected directly to your Xbox One
Set to Stereo uncompressed
