Awesome 0 people found this helpfulI now have two of these 10" hooked up to my stereo. They sound incredible! I have them each set to 50% volume and 60% crossover and I get an incredibly balanced bass out of them.

Wow, What a Bang for the Buck! 0 people found this helpfulHow could one not be skeptical of a $200 subwoofer? In spite of all the stellar reviews? But it was because of those numerous reviews that I thought I would give it a try, and boy, was I surprised. Performance is excellent, and build quality is, too. It doesn't quite have the stellar good looks of my NHT subwoofer in piano gloss black, but it is a fine looking unit, and it has it where it counts ... bass far beyond what we would expect for a device at this price level. So good, in fact, that I'm giving serious consideration to looking at an entire Fluance speaker system to go with a currently-unused receiver (a Yamaha RX V3000 that weighs a metric ton). And besides its outstanding performance, Fluance offers a 30-day return policy (and they pay return shipping), so what's not to like? I can highly recommend this unit to anyone looking for a modestly-priced subwoofer that way over-performs. Too bad they are still not made in Canada (made in China now, unfortunately) but you do get a small Canadian flag protruding out of the rear of the speaker box hearkening back to its roots as a Canadian company. Absolutely worth you looking into! Seven stars out of five.
