Works great 0 people found this helpfulHad a fibre mat that was a static magnet, this has eliminated the static pops and crackles and being a bit heavier reduces any noise from the platter itself. For me it works great.

Improves Sound Quality 0 people found this helpfulCompared to my previous felt matt, This rubber matt is a vast improvement, didn't think it would make much difference so held off buying one. Technics ship some of there high end turntables with rubber matts like the one above for a reason. It's easy to keep clean and there's noticeably less static but most of all improved sound.

Is what it is 0 people found this helpfulVery good quality and I haven't noticed any of my records sticking to yet and the grooves help to lift your records off with ease. Now people have said this collects dust and it does, but I found a product made by Big Fudge that is a little lint roller and it keeps this mat dust free and you just wash it off every so often, ready to use again.
