    Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between Ai61 and RI71?
While the Ai61 and Ri71 amplifiers both output 120W (60W per speaker), the Ri71 uses an AMT tweeter for greater high-end detail and performance, aptX Bluetooth codec for higher quality wireless audio, and HDMI ARC for easier setup and higher performance with compatible audio sources. These speakers are not based on the Ai61 and are an entirely new product line.
What is an AMT tweeter and why is it better than a silk dome?
An AMT (Air Motion Transformer) tweeter enhances the high-frequency range and clarity of the mid/vocal range. We use a uniquely engineered waveguide for wider off-axis dispersion, this allows you to sit at wider angles from the speaker, but still enjoy it as though you are in front of them.
    What is HDMI ARC?
HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel) Is an HDMI Audio Output connection found on many current televisions. This feature allows you to connect your TV directly to your speakers using HDMI so any source device such as a Blu-Ray Player connected to the TV will send sound to the speakers through a digital HDMI connection.
What audio codecs are Ri71 and Ri91 compatible with?
Our Powered Reference speakers feature Bluetooth 5.0 with the aptX codec for improved wireless audio quality.
