Excellent Speakers for my Use 0 people found this helpfulFirst of all, I purchased these based upon others reviews. I had never heard Fluance speakers before, but I wanted a true "3-way" speaker. I use these as stereo music speakers, and for my TV sound. For my taste in music (70's - 90's) these are a perfect match. I don't want base that will rattle the walls - when I went to concerts, base was not that pronounced. For music, the woofers mimic the live music for me as I heard it. I hear things now I wasn't hearing before on my LP's. Symphonies come alive - I can pick out individual instruments I couldn't before. Do I consider the bass weak ? No. On action movies, the bass is pronounced, but not overwhelming. The actors voices are clear, even with the "Explosions" going on. Once I found their positioning "sweet spot", they were perfect. Bottom line, would I buy them again ? YES.

Perfectly balanced 0 people found this helpfulThese speakers are awesome. I couldn't be happier. These speakers sound great in my gameroom. The bass is booming but the mids and highs are still perfectly balanced. These speakers are made with quality in mind.

Great value, lovely to look at, sound awesome 0 people found this helpfulThe XL8F speakers are awesome. Impressive value at $760 (CAD)/pair. These arrived in great condition due to superb packing materials. I was impressed with the feel and quality of the speaker terminals, the isolation floor spikes, and the magnetic front grills. I chose the option to bi-wire the speakers to my amp. I find these easy on my ears and they provide a nice crisp high-end sound that is not in your face, a detailed mid-range and a nice warm low end. These staged extremely well in my space. I chose the lovely finished natural walnut that looks superb and fits so well with my decor. I did reach out to Fluance's customer service desk on shipping and received prompt replies and helpful support from Julie. The bottom line is that the XL8F speakers are exceptional value for money, look wonderful, sound great and customer service is good.
