Awesome product 0 people found this helpfulI had been in the market for a turntable system for a good six months. It has been literally decades since I owned one. The Fluance product was easy to setup. Feels like a premium turntable. The sound is so pure. I found no flaw in the quality of the turntable.

Great sound without getting into diminishing returns territory. 0 people found this helpfulI decided my old Dual turntable had had it after multiple repairs and attention over the last nearly 40 years. Time for a replacement; something good but not stupid money - I like vinyl and have many lps, but not to the anal level. After some research and a bit of listening I went with the Fluance RT85N. Very simple setup and straight in with something loud, and what a difference/improvement. Next was something quiet and the clarity was amazing. I hesitate to say, but I was like a kid grabbing old records. So far this turntable has just exceeded its stated 20hr break in period so long may this continue.Thoroughly recommended if you want a really great sound but don't want to get into the diminishing returns territory.

Loving Every Minute 11 people found this helpfulGrowing up in a house filled with vinyl I have always loved every aspect of playing records. Fast forward; after researching mid-grade tables for the better part of a year lead me to Fluance. Numerous reviews, and forums lead me being ever more confident this was the right choice. I am loving every minute of it. My 12yo daughter assisted with the unpacking and setup, which was easier than I thought. The manual has excellent detail on every step. Once we finished hooking everything together it was time for the first spin, being a record she picked out at the local music store. Now I realize we are still “breaking in” the needle during its first 20 hours, but already-wow! Compared to what I remember listening to my Dad’s audiophile home system it is on par. Using the player is easy enough that my daughter is confident to spin records on her own after our first play through. Now we are auditioning four different phono preamps to see which one works best with the current monitors from my home recording studio. The adventure begins and it could not have started any better.
