Great upgrade turntable 0 people found this helpfulI bought this as an upgrade from my suitcase player that was gifted to me. I love it. Sounds great and in my opinion is pretty cheap for the quality that it gives.

You Never Know How Bad Your Inexpensive Turntable Is Until.... 0 people found this helpful...you spend a little more than you expect and buy a quality turntable. I purchased the Fluance based on a recommendation from OddAudio (IG) and we were flat blown away at the sound difference. A complete game changer. I never imagined the LP's my wife and I have been carrying around since our teens could sound so incredible. Don't hesitate to replace your cheap turntable if you care anything at all about your LP's, and I HIGHLY recommend the Fluance RT80!

BUY IT! 0 people found this helpfulAs a beginner to turntables and "spinning" vinyl I can say this Fluance RT80 is perfect for beginners. OK, a bit of an exaggeration there; nothing is ever "perfect" but this is an excellent turntable for the price. It has no automatic features which is fine by me because the more gizmos a device has will have more problems down the line. Easy to assemble. Built in pre-amp is sufficient (you will need powered speakers) to get you listening to your music.

Fantastic entry-level turntable - don't settle for less! 0 people found this helpfulI'm very pleased with this purchase. I bought this as a secondary turntable for casual listening and to listen to all the various dollar bin records I've collected over the years that would cause too much unnecessary wear on the expensive cartridge on my main turntable. The table is very easy to set up and sounds great right out of the box. Speed stability is solid and the supplied cartridge is pretty even-handed sounding with good separation of instruments. The overall presentation is a bit bass-shy to my ears, but this is a very inexpensive cartridge! Finish and build quality are nice as well for this price. As someone who owns some very pricey turntables and electronics, this table is to me an absolute no-brainer for someone relatively new to vinyl or looking for an inexpensive secondary turntable. The built-in preamp and upgradeability of this table just sweeten the pot.The only downside I can see is that cartridge upgrade options appear to be a bit limited in terms of cartridge weight. There are still plenty of options however, including some very decent entry-level moving coil cartridges if you wanted to go that far (a well cared-for cartridge can always be transferred to an upgraded table some day).
