Eye-opening sound 0 people found this helpfulAfter rehabbing my 45-year-old Lafayette turntable to lackluster results, I decided to buy something from the 21st century and chose the Fluance RT-82 based on the reviews here and on CNET. And all I can say is believe what they say -- my old LPs never sounded so good, especially the original masters, and I'm hearing things in them I never heard before. I've rediscovered my vinyl collection and have happily begun adding to it again. Very satisfied.

Based on the reviews here and on YouTube, it seemed like it would be decent. The quality is better than anticipated. The sound is as clear and crisp as anything I've heard on much more expensive turntables. It feels solidly built and looks elegant. If you want high quality at an entry level price, this is it.
