Amazing turntable!
-
Excellent value for the money. Quality item. My only issue was the ability to change out the cartridge. Don't get me wrong the 2m Red is a very good cartridge, but I also have a few AT that I would have liked to use to compare the sound. Those are not compatible with the RT 83.
-
Great record player! Very stylish looking!
-
I really love my RT83 turntable. It's built solid, easy to assemble and love the adjustable legs that reduce vibrations and helps to make the player level.
-
I up graded from a standard $100.00 Sony record player to the RT83 and wow what difference in quality, and much more important the quality of sound.
-
Well made, looks beautiful and the sound is rich and warm.
-
Very easy to install. Well packaged and reproduces the music excellent.
-
Good turntable very well made and great sound excellent
-
Great performance of this table has gotten me back into vinyl. Beautiful construction. Dead quiet. Constant speed. Only the thing I could add is if your are intending to upgrade the platter and stylus go for the RT 85 right from the start...great value! Happy Listening.
-
I love love love this turntable! And if all you care about is getting a great deal, you could hardly do better. However, I ended up spending a lot more money because once I had the RT83, I realized that I really wanted the acrylic platter that comes with the RT85 as well as the more expensive phono cartridge that also comes with the RT85. NOW if you buy the 85 to begin with you'll pay $150 more than for the RT83. BUT you get about $350 worth of good stuff for your extra expenditure. So you know yourself and I don't know you. If you will be content with the RT83 then it's great deal. But if like me you will find yourself wishing you had bought the top of the line, you will save money if you buy it to begin with.
-
the set up on this is tough....Still have not got it calibrated not sound dragged....First player in a long time, very disappointed. And yes, I've balanced and calibrated it twice.
-
After research on YouTube from various video blogs reviewing Fluance turntable, I couldn’t be anymore happier with buying a Fluance for myself. So happy I made this investment for myself!
-
It plays beautifully. The sleek look fits perfectly. It took a while to put it together but when it was finished it was pretty. When it arrived it with a cracked dusk cover but the customer service was great as sending a new one.

The reference turntables are elegant and pleasing to the eyes. The unit has good weight and solid construction as well. The unit has an S-shaped tone arm which allows versatility in upgrading outside of the recommended selection of cartridges. This is very important. The automatic stop is an excellent feature and is difficult to find in other tables. The 30 seconds automatic stop time would work better at 5 seconds in my opinion. I had several questions concerning the turntable and Julie in customer service did very well in either answering or finding the answers for me, thank you.

I finally treated myself to a high quality turntable and it's made listening to music even more enjoyable! What great sound!
